Coordinación de las actividades de investigación en la Facultad de Ingeniería Agraria en la Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae 2018 – 2022

Abstract

El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo principal la descripción de la gestión de la investigación en ciencias agrícolas en la Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae a través de las actividades realizadas por la coordinación general del Departamento de Investigación. El trabajo desarrolla las labores realizadas en la coordinación general del Departamento de Investigación de la Facultad de Ingeniería Agraria que abarcan diferentes aspectos de gestión, que de manera directa e indirecta ha involucrado a los docentes, estudiantes, tesistas, diversas áreas de la universidad y evaluación de procesos. En el desarrollo del trabajo realizado se describe las actividades de manera precisa como los tipos de gestión realizadas, los problemas encontrados y las soluciones y aportes brindados. El desarrollo del trabajo es un compendio de experiencias, las cuales han permitido describir las carencias de la gestión de la investigación de la institución, así como brindar las recomendaciones puntuales para la mejora. Sin embargo, las experiencias también han mostrado el gran potencial que posee la universidad en cuanto al recurso humano que le compone.

The aim of the present work was to describe how is the research management is done at the agricultural sciences of the Universidad Católica Sedes Sapientiae. This objective was achieved through the analysis of the activities carried out by the general coordination of the Research Department. The position of general coordination of the Research Department of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering covers different aspects of management, which involved directly or indirectly teachers, students, thesis students, various areas of the university and the evaluation of processes. For conducting this analysis, the activities of the general coordinator were described precisely as well as the problems encountered, and the solutions and contributions provided. The development of the work is a summary of experiences, which have allowed us to describe the current gaps of the institution in terms of research management, as well as to provide specific recommendations for improvement. However, this analysis have also shown the great potential that the university has in terms of its human resources.
